As a music educator I hold a high standard of learning for strong technical fundamentals, promote character growth through the disciplined learning of music, and incorporate a cross-disciplinary approach to foster curiosity and better understanding including cultural, historical, and scientific elements.
I have studied pedagogy with Olga Kaler, Cliff Colnot, Floyd Cooley, and am a registered Suzuki violin teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.
I am currently on faculty at the Merit School of Music, and throughout my teaching career have held faculty positions at the Chicago School of Music, the Chicago School of Musical Arts, and have taught classes at Chicago Area schools including Skinner North, Catherine Cook, and many more.
I teach in-person lessons in the Chicago area and offer online lessons.
